Paige (aged 5) absolutely loved going through the book A FAMILIAR SOUND from Elliot & Gina series, with her little brother perfect for wanting to help little ones sound out words. I definitely recommend it!
My daughter (aged 6) was very excited about winning the book A FAMILIAR SOUND in the giveaway. She began reading as soon as it was delivered. She read and she read right till the end in one sitting. That's very good for her... she loses interest very easily. She loved the pictures and the colours as well as the story. The characters and the storyline were very age appropriate. The cover of the book is very enticing with its bold colours and pictures.
A FAMILIAR SOUND from Elliot & Gina series is a simple short story about an unexpected visitor and his travel adventures. Nicely illustrated. It's a perfect read out loud story for young reader.

Readers’ reviews:
My son (aged 8) is really enjoying the book TIDY SPACE PIRATES and is loving the pirate characters!
TIDY SPACE PIRATES is a story about Elliot tidying his room and getting ready to go out but Gran makes it into a game of pirates and space pirates to make it more fun for Elliot. My son who is five years old engaged very well with the story. He listened intently and looked at all the pictures. He pointed out different pictures and followed the story with ease. He worked out quite quickly that it was a ruse by Gran to make Elliot clean his room but still got involved with the story.
His favourite bit was when Gran and Elliot went into 'space' and sucked up the Garbles into the anti-Garble vacuum. On the last page when the family are at the play, he remembered when he did the school play and was able to associate his memories with the story. We enjoyed reading it together and will carry on reading it again and again.
